What are Planned Gifts?
If you share our commitment to ensuring a brighter future for abused and neglected children in your community, please consider supporting Advocates for Children through our Planned Giving initiative.
A planned gift is any gift given for any amount, given for any purpose - operation, capital expansion, or endowment - whether for current or deferred use, which requires the assistance of a professional staff person or donor advisor to complete. It includes any gift which is carefully considered by a donor in light of estate and financial plans. Because many donors are unable to release assets to make a major gift, they can make a substantial planned gift to Advocates for Children while providing important tax and income benefits to themselves or others. Also, donors can increase income or pass assets on to heirs and reduce or avoid estate and gift taxes.
